When did Honeycomb: The World Beyond come out?
On 8 September 2026, on PC through Steam and the Epic Games Store, on PS5 and on Xbox Series X|S at the same time. It unlocked at 9:00 AM Pacific.
How much does Honeycomb: The World Beyond cost?
The list price is $29.99. Steam ran a 15% launch discount ($25.49); the PlayStation Store showed $29.99 on 10 September 2026. It was not in the Game Pass catalogue lists we checked that day.
How many times was it delayed?
Four times. It was first aimed at Q4 2023, then Q3 2024, then 6 November 2025, then Q1 2026, before landing on 8 September 2026. Frozen Way apologised for the delays in its launch post.
Is it early access?
No. Asked on the Steam forum, the developer said "It's a complete game", adding that updates would follow for quality-of-life issues and bugs.
Will there be more updates?
Hotfix #1 went out on 9 September 2026. In the same post Frozen Way teased "a TIIINY addition to the game" to celebrate launch, without saying what it is.
